Gustavo Aray
Gustavo founded RZV (Rui Zhi Ventures Limited) in 2011 to assist patent owners and investment funds in monetizing and acquiring high-value patent portfolios. He has successfully brokered numerous buy-side, sell-side, and financing transactions, earning recognition as a leading global patent broker in top IP publications.
Before RZV, Gustavo served at Intel Capital, where he co-founded and led the patent acquisition group and managed the patent licensing program for portfolio companies. As part of Intel Capital’s investment team, he spearheaded investments in technology firms across the US and China and oversaw portfolio companies in the post-investment management group.
Earlier in his career, Gustavo worked at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC). He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, studied Mandarin Chinese at the Taipei Language Institute, and earned a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
